How many times a year do you go camping?

Generally we go camping 3 times a year as a pack, although older dens (Webelos & Arrow of Light scouts), may camp as a group (den) more often.

We have our Fall Campout in October, our Spring Campout in April, and our Family Campout in June. For the Fall and Spring Campouts, we camp on Lake Erie Council property. This involves renting a community cabin and giving families the option to tent camp near the cabin, if they prefer. For the family campout, it is tent camping only, and is done on private property that is Lake Erie Council approved.
